English is one of the most spoken languages in world, and many people are making their main or additional language. Learning even more important for university students as they need to use language a classroom setting learn, communicate participate. One common ways teaching using Oral Corrective Feedback. The purpose this study identify perspectives ESL/EFL on effectiveness This employed quantitative method by administering questionnaires 82 supported qualitative data from 9 students. were analysed descriptive Spearman’s Correlation Analysis. thematically based Lyster et al.’s (2013) interaction hypothesis Dekeyser’s (2020) Skill Acquisition Theory. result showed relationship between level proficiency student’s perspective whether want lecturers correct errors speaking English. results also indicated that different resulted views OCF classroom. Students with advanced do not prefer However, it noted other than proficiency, students’ background knowledge might have contributed view OCF. Several recommendations future been added study.
